Training and consulting for special needs families and organizations.
Special Needs Advocacy Training & Consulting provides training on child welfare system, one-on-one coaching for families, and consulting for agencies supporting special needs families. The focus of our work is to ensure that families have the knowledge and skills to advocate for their children and themselves. We provide direct training and coaching to families on how the special needs systems work (child welfare, adoption, guardianship, education, social security, disability programs and healthcare) and how to work them to provide the best options and services for their children. Secondarily, we provide consulting services to agencies serving special needs families so that we can also improve the systems that our families need to thrive.
